Sitting up!

Julia sits up now! Hooray! The first day she sat up was January 8 (see left). She sat for about ten minutes under her rainforest canopy. Mommy was hanging out nearby to right her whenever she wobbled.

Since then she has become even more well-balanced, and we can put her directly on the floor or on her Pooh activity blanket by the kitchen. She is now much happier to sit under her rainforest canopy than to lie under it and roll around like before. She sits at the edge of the mat with her Boppy pillow around her and goes to town:
